Am I registered to sign?
Only registered voters who live in Pittsburg County may sign this petition (62 O.S. § 868(B)(2); 34 O.S. § 23). Check before you come — it takes two minutes.
The portal is run by the Oklahoma State Election Board. It asks for your name as registered and your date of birth. We never see what you enter.
What the signature sheet asks for
Oklahoma verifies a signature by matching these five fields against your voter registration (34 O.S. § 1). Four of the five must match, so use exactly what is on your registration:
- Legal first name
- Legal last name
- ZIP code
- House number
- Birth month and day (MM/DD — not the year)
You will also write your street name and city, and sign.
Not registered, or moved?
You can register or update your address through the portal or at the County Election Board. New registrations take effect after processing — ask the Election Board when yours will be active.
